Tax Tax exemption is given to pension remitted in to Malaysia. Participants are required to obtain the endorsement from the Authorities in their country of origin as to the total amount of yearly pension received. A copy of this letter has to be submitted in their application for tax exemption.

Car Purchase

Car PurchaseEach participant is allowed to bring one "personal car" which belongs to him from his country of citizenship. He will be exempted from paying import duty, excise duty and sales tax on the imported car within six (6) months from the endorsement date of the MM2H visa. Participant may also purchase a new local car or assembled in Malaysia without the need to pay the import duty, excise duty and sales tax.

Note:

  1. "Personal car" is referred to a car which was purchased by participant before joining the MM2H programme.
  2. Participants must apply for prior approval within the time period given to the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of International Trade and Industry before bringing in personal car from country of origin or buying the locally assembled car in Malaysia.
   
   
  • House Purchase

House PurchasePurchase of residential unit is exempted from FIC ( Foreign Investment Committee ) approval under the Malaysia My Second Home Program. After completed a year of participating in Malaysia Second Home Program, you are allowed to withdraw 60% - 80% of your fixed deposit to fulfill the financial requirement of the program. To purchase residential properties that subject to the following conditions:

  1. Above RM350,000 for certain area in the state of Sarawak
  2. Above RM250,000 for other state in Malaysia
  • Freedom To Travel

Freedom To travelMalaysia is an excellent mix of Asian culture country. Participants can visit any states of Malaysia by anytime they wish because there is no minimum stay requirement with convenient transportation. Malaysia identification card will be issued to the participants which allow them to pass immigration checkpoints into Malaysia as residents.

Participant's parents who are over 60 years old can come to Malaysia together with the participants under a special social visit visa with the duration of six (6) months. It is renewable till the expiry of 10 years visa of the participants.

   
   
  • Education

EducationFor those applicants with children ( Who are under 18 years old ), there are many excellent international school and private colleges as well as universities which are already attracted many foreigner. Children who is below 18 years old will be able to follow the participants as dependants under this programme. Dependants ( Children ) who intend to continue their schooling in Malaysia are required to apply for a student pass and should be Insured throughout their stay under this program.

After a year of participating in this Malaysia My Second Home Program (MM2H), participants is entitled to withdraw 60% - 80% of the fixed deposit to cover the education cost of your children.

  • Domestic Helper

Domestic HelperMM2H programme is allowed you to recruit one house maid to assist you in all the house work at home. Each Applicants is allowed to apply for one maid subject to the prevailing guidelines of the Immigration Department of Malaysia.
